One of the most definitive signs of spring in the Northern Hemisphere is when Simple Session goes off. What began as a local contest a few years back in 2001, is now a major international event in its fifteenth year. This always amazing and ground-breaking competition attracts the best park and street riders worldwide to Tallinn, Estonia. This year, 88 BMX riders and 67 skateboarders from 34 countries skated in the qualifiers, vying for one of the 24 finalist spots in each discipline. The event was held April 18 and 19, 2015 in a new venue, the Tondiraba Arena, with the course designed by Nate Wessel, who has been the genius behind the Simple Session course since 2007.
Simple Session always has new tricks, and riders just going past their edge, doing amazing runs. Drew Bezanson, winner of Simple Session 2014, chalked up his fifth Simple Session win, and the youngest finalist in the skateboard comp, France’s Robin Bolien, took the top spot in skate.
