Sydney 18 May 2015. Triple world boxing champion Jeff Fenech will conduct boxing classes and launch his incredible new range of multi coloured boxing gloves at the official opening of World Gym Rockhampton at 34 East St , Rockhampton by Rockhampton Mayor Margaret Strelow at 10am on Saturday 30th May .
Joining Jeff and the Mayor at the opening is legendary NSW State of Origin Captain Ben Elias who will use a pair of Fenech’s new yellow leopard ( not tiger) suede gloves to box with Jeff and demonstrate the pain free gloves that contain an inner gel to reduce any pain when boxing with them on. Jeff will use either the snake green or pink crocodile gloves !
Jeff says “ These new gloves are an incredible invention . The special inner gel in the gloves means that when you box it doesn’t hurt your hands. I wish I’d had them when I was competing . It doesn’t hurt to box anymore ….unless you’re on the receiving end ! “
The official opening day at the new World Gym will feature a sausage sizzle , loads of giveaways , boxing and photos with Jeff and Ben and will start from 9am to 4pm .
The public are welcome to check out the latest concept style World Gym, with limited foundation memberships still available at almost $250 off . To become a member on sign up day the price will be $12.95 with no joining fee or access card fee.
