Red Bull Hart Lines, a new skateboarding contest as part of Red Bull Signature Series was held May 8 and 9, 2015 at Hart Plaza in the heart of Detroit, Michigan. The Motor City skate contest was created by Ryan Sheckler, and it featured 20 of some of the world’s best skateboarders competing in a unique format. The course had two lanes with existing skateable features, and some added features designed by California RampWorks. Skaters had to do a run in each lane, then on their third runs, they skated the lane of their choice. Technical skills, style and timing determined scores. The top eight skaters competed in the finals, and in the end Curren Caples took the win with fast runs and an arsenal of tricks.
