Sydney 23 July 2013. Sydney 23 July 2013. A business should take every opportunity to boast. When things are going well, tell everyone.
A good business manager will already know that customers, suppliers, finance sources and employees want to be kept fully informed about all aspects of a business. They expect or hope that they will be kept in the loop on day to day operations like new staff, new products or events.
If people with an interest in how a business is going, are starved of information they lose the desire to relate to or belong to the business. Interest wanes and their attention goes elsewhere. If it is too much trouble to find someone to handle media relations within a business then outsource that role. It is not expensive and the results lead to growth in stakeholder satisfaction levels.
Many business people have an email list but a more effective communication tool is a press release that appears in the news. The media release could ask for opinions on how the business going, products or services they want or other valuable management input. Stay in touch with a newsletter or a press release.
The news might end up in the local paper, trade publications, staff newsletter or online in a press release site like PRWeb or Businesswire. Press release writing and distribution services can make the communication task easy.
The business lets the press release writer know what is happening. It might be a deal that is going on LivingSocial or Groupon or it might be a monthly sale on stock or services. If you have a special event coming up then TELL SOMEONE !
