Guidry joined Everest University in 2011 and shortly after began his role as president of the Pompano Beach campus.

In his new position, Guidry will oversee all administrative departments, including admissions, student affairs, education programs, and community and business relations.Guidry has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and early childhood education industries, with a range of responsibilities that come with managing from10 to more than 100 locations.

Guidry, an avid surfer and skydiver, was raised in Central Florida and earned bachelor degrees in communications and criminal justice at the University of Central Florida. He is involved with numerous charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Surfers for Autism and Women in Distress of Broward County.
