AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, September 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The young New York based entertainer from Remuera will be participating in the global Live Below The Line poverty campaign running for a week in September. She will be amongst a group of 8 Auckland poets (including Jess Baites, Miriam Larsen-Barr, Dietrich Soakai) who will survive on $2.25 per day - the New Zealand equivalent of the extreme poverty line- and creating spoken word poetry to be performed at the Basement Theatre for the Live Below the Line closing party.

A food based challenge is fitting for the 25 year old who has recently finished production on wellness themed program 'Longer Life', her first foray as a television presenter. Directed by Evelyn Vaccaro, the show features Fitzjames presenting advice on sustainable nutrition and exercise in New York City. Fitzjames has accelerated her career in the last year, having toured her one woman show Love and Light throughout North America and performing in the world's most prestigious spoken word venues such as The Bowery Poetry Club and La Poisson Rouge.

Fitzjames is open for interviews during the week of 'Live Below the Line' and nearby dates.
