LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hollywood knows a thing or two about Award Show Style Lounges, but student Interns?

“Raising Your Cup to Living Well is the Wolfgang Puck Coffee Bar”

Charged with a project most students could only dream about, luring television’s best into the first of a series of gift-giving Lounges and Suites honoring next week’s 65th Annual Emmy Awards nominees, interns from the career exploring foundation Omics LIVE, have worked diligently to raise the bar of a traditional Style Lounge!

Having students create a setting and amenities for a Style Lounge, and at a level that will lure VIP’s and Agents from the Entertainment Industry as well as prime time television’s biggest stars to the event, was a brilliant strategy thanks to Secret Room Events. Their popular Red Carpet Style Lounge kicks off the Awards Show hype beginning tomorrow, September 14th, at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City.

Sherri Scheck-Merrill, Founder of the Omics LIVE Foundation, is ecstatic about enlisting student interns from her Fashionomics LIVE program into such a high-wattage experience. “Not only is it a plus for the Event Company to tap into the High School student mindset for their priceless trend forward knowledge and ideas, but giving students an exceptional experience as they explore their own career paths is simply a win-win, plus the fact draws great attention on college applications and resumes!”

Casting the fashionably bright Orange County cast of students from 11 High Schools into “Pop-up Internships,” offers the Interns a snapshot of what a career within several professions would look like. Event Planning, Marketing, Product Development, Public Relations and general Business Management are fields we visit on our monthly Tour Stops as well as the offering of our Pop-Up Internship experiences.

First on the agenda for tomorrow’s Style Lounge set-up was the recruitment of Celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck’s line of personally crafted coffee drinks all re-named after the nominees. “Raising Your Cup to Living Well is the Wolfgang Puck Coffee Bar” theme, and leaving no stone unturned, if caffeine happens to be outside the diet boundaries of attendees, the students felt “staying hydrated” would be a priority, so they sourced purified waters packaged in cartons vs. plastic to allow the finicky stars a chance to hydrate organically and in an eco-friendly manner! Why? The students feel Boxed Water is Better than plastic!

Next, the students enlisted their favorite Orange County based beautifiers who they felt could exceed a television star’s expectations. Starting with the design of the Beauty Lounge with whimsical oversized bean bag furnishings and brightly hued geometric fabrics from Irvine based Majestic Home Goods.

Upon arriving, the talent will be escorted from the red carpet to beautifying stations where pre-Awards Show trial runs for Make-up, Lashes, Nails and Hair will be offered. The students recruited OC based artists from Dial M for Make Up, Bella by Design Studio and their favorite vegan manicures by Lollipop Nails. They also created their own station, “What’s the Scoop,” a trail mix bar and Social Media stand so the public could view event images live on September 14th, between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM, on the Fashionomics LIVE social media platforms at Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest!
