The Kimberley Diamond Cup (KDC) Grand Slam Regional Qualifiers at Ultimate X in Cape Town, South Africa was held February 27-28, 2015, kicking off what will no doubt be an amazing year of KDC skateboarding events. Ultimate X, a showcase of the best skateboarding in the country was integrated with the Regional Qualifiers and the Rider Cup team event. Yann Horowitz took first place in the skate contest as well as the best trick.
The top five skaters in the KDC Grand Slam Regional Qualifiers are automatically seeded into the finals of KDC South African Championships this October. The AKAM team took the win in the Rider Cup which locks them into a spot in the Rider Cup Championships in October at KDC.
