Hydra customers, including UBS, Skipton Building Society, Serco, and AIMIA, met at the Radisson Blu in Leeds for a day of learning and interaction. The event featured panel presentations on online project management tactics and the current best project management tools, and participant discussions on their experiences using Hydra project resource management software and their own recommended best practices for utilizing resource management systems and project management software implementation. Attendees were also treated to a sneak preview of Hydra2014, the new release of Hydra PPM software that is coming out soon.
"Hydra provides the best project management software for business leaders to manage multiple projects, optimize resources, and turn any challenge into an opportunity for growth," said, Manfredi Bargioni, Vice President of Marketing. "In a culture where managers must manage multiple projects, having a product which can create real, measurable improvements in results is crucial. Our Hydra management software improves efficiency by 10 percent within 12 months, with users reporting benefits after the first week of installation."
Geoff Reiss, original founder of Hydra, delivered a keynote address on how today's project managers could learn from some of the greatest project undertakings of history, ranging from the construction of the Pyramids, to the Suez Canal. With attendees from businesses large and small, representing industry leaders and top innovators, Reiss addressed a crowd familiar with tackling elaborate, challenging projects. Hydra will follow up its User Group event with a hard launch of its new Hydra2014 PPM package later this year.
