Remember that parents will be entrusting you with their kids, and you must, therefore, prove that you are worthy of their trust. Here are a few requirements to help you get there.
Education requirements

License and certification

You, therefore, need to prove that you are clean and that you do not have any history of malicious or criminal acts. Just because you love kids does not automatically mean that you are fit to become a child caregiver. Your personality and interests should match the job requirements. For example, you should have the spirit and willingness to give and help. You also need to be patient and have excellent anger management skills.
The kids might, at times, get into your nerves, especially with their curiosity and stubbornness. You should be excellent at handling this. Otherwise, you might harm them. It takes excellent communication skills to deal with children. They might, at times, ask weird or hard to answer questions. It is up to you to come up with a friendly and understandable way to answer them without hurting the kids’ feelings. You should also be able to communicate with the kids’ parents and your colleagues to ensure that you are all on the right page.
If you strongly believe that you can meet these requirements, then you are good to go. The job is quite good-paying. You may decide to get employed in a company or startup a private child care facility.
