GoFetch partnership with CouriersPlease

Innovative delivery start-up helps international courier with on-demand delivery service

App-based delivery service, GoFetch is excited to announce its partnership with one of Australia’s largest eCommerce courier services, CouriersPlease.

The collaboration will see CouriersPlease diversify its product range to offer its customers faster on-demand delivery services 24/7 in addition to its existing suite of options.

The white-label arrangement sees CouriersPlease customers matched with GoFetch’s over 4,000 ‘Fetchers’ who then perform the deliveries via any transport method they see fit; be it car, bike, on foot or even public transport.

As a result of the partnership, GoFetch can now be utilised through CouriersPlease in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, with the aim to expand the service to even more areas across Australia later this year.

The digital peer-to-peer system for GoFetch mirrors the Uber model and was created to provide businesses with a more convenient, cost-effective way to deliver parcels.

GoFetch Founder and CEO, Blair Smith says the partnership provides CouriersPlease a chance to offer an on-demand service for its customer’s delivery needs and help solve the growing need for transparency over the last mile.

“Since launching in 2016, GoFetch has seen over 4,000 ‘Fetchers’ securely deliver 15,000 parcels with 100 per cent success rate so we are in the perfect position to accommodate growth.

“We are thrilled to expand our business through our partnership with CouriersPlease, which will mean more businesses will have access to an easy and reliable service for time-sensitive deliveries,” said Mr Smith.

CouriersPlease provides parcel delivery and postage in Australia and internationally, delivering more than 17 million parcels every year.

CouriersPlease Head of Commercial and Transformation, Jessica Ip, said the partnership with GoFetch is a great venture for the future of deliverable goods.

“We’re thrilled to be working with GoFetch to offer a Point-to-Point, on-demand service to our valued customers.

“We expect this premium offering will be well received, particularly by those who are looking for flexibility in having items delivered urgently or out of the traditional delivery hours,” said Ms Ip.
