24th October 2013. The Industry Minister Ian Macfarlane is meeting with the company tomorrow, a meeting that had been prearranged to discuss the issues in the lead up to the Tasmanian State council.
The food manufacturing sector has been facing difficult times and Labor’s Carbon Tax clearly made that situation more difficult.
The Liberals are committed to abolishing the carbon tax, reducing company tax and generally assisting an improvement in the economic environment so that we can reverse Labor’s budgeted increase in unemployment.
Any loss of jobs is regrettable. That is why the Liberals are so determined to reset the economy to grow employment opportunities with the subsequent economic and social benefits.
