SASKATOON, Jan. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Canpotex Limited (Canpotex) announces that it has reached agreement with Sinochem Fertilizer Macao Commerical Offshore Ltd (Sinofert) for the supply of 700,000 metric tonnes (MT) of potash to China during the first half of 2014. This new contract is priced at current and competitive market levels.

Steven Dechka, Canpotex's President and Chief Executive Officer, stated that this agreement demonstrates the continued importance Canpotex places on the Chinese market.
