SAN DIEGO, Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced today that, for the first time in the school's history, it has been ranked among the top business schools in all three major U.S. publications who conduct business school rankings surveys in 2013.

The three publications, U.S. News & World Report, Forbes and Bloomberg BusinessWeek, have recognized the college's part-time and full-time M.B.A. programs amongst the 50 best in the nation's public universities, with the full-time program ranked within the top 10 in the state of California.

In addition, Hispanic Network Magazine and Professional Woman's Magazine named SDSU's M.B.A. programs as "The Best of the Best" and, for the third year in a row, Financial Planning Magazine recognized the college as one of "30 Great Schools for Financial Planning" in their November 2013 issue.

"We have known for some time that our college has a very solid curriculum, top researchers and dedicated support systems in place," said Dr. Gangaram Singh, interim dean of SDSU's College of Business Administration. "I am delighted that we have now received national recognition for our outstanding M.B.A. programs. We are already planning and implementing the next set of innovations to continue this upward trajectory – building on excellence."
