WASHINGTON, Sept. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency will host two workshops in Oklahoma City, Okla., at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel, Oct. 29-30, for directors of national community banks and federal savings associations.
The "Risk Assessment for Directors" and "Credit Risk: A Director's Focus" workshops are designed exclusively for directors of institutions supervised by the OCC. The risk assessment workshop focuses on the OCC's approach to risk-based supervision and ways directors can effectively measure, monitor, identify, and control risks. The credit risk workshop focuses on the loan portfolio and the roles of the board and management, as well as current industry trends and news. Both workshops are taught by seasoned OCC supervision staff.
The fee is $99 for each workshop. Participants receive a pre-workshop reading package, course materials, and assorted supervisory publications. Each workshop is limited to the first 35 registrants.
