Ryan Director Darcy Kooiker Appointed to State of Washington Task Force for Data and Metrics to Evaluate Tax Preferences

DALLAS, Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan, a leading global tax services firm with the largest indirect and property tax practices in North America, today announced that Darcy Kooiker, Ryan Director located in the Firm's Seattle, Washington office, has been appointed by the Association of Washington Business to the State of Washington Task Force for Data and Metrics to Evaluate Tax Preferences. The Task Force, established by Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 5882 of the Washington 63rd Legislature, 2013 2nd Special Session, was formed to advise the Legislative Auditor regarding appropriate data and metrics that should be included in the tax preference performance statements to evaluate new, extended, or expanded tax preferences. Task Force members include the Legislative Auditor, an economist with extensive state tax experience, and representatives from the Department of Revenue, Association of Washington Business, and Office of Financial Management.
