NEW YORK, Sept. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Clean Coal Technologies, Inc. (OTC: CCTC) ("the Company"), an emerging cleaner-energy company utilizing patented technology to convert raw coal into a cleaner burning and more efficient fuel, clarifies facts for investors as it relates to the permit to operate its test plant at the Coal Fire Utility Plant in Oklahoma.  The Company has obtained clearance from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ).  Site preparation has commenced and construction of the pilot plant is moving forward as scheduled.

The permit has been in place since July 15, 2013 when the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) issued a letter to the Company indicating that the permit application was administratively complete.  The letter also stated that additional information may be required in the future as the project moves forward.  As with all standard permitting issues, the granting authority reserves the right to ask additional questions within the first six months. This in no way affects Clean Coal Technologies' ability to prepare the site or operate the plant.  Issuance of the July 15th letter was a prerequisite of the Site Agreement that was executed and publicly reported via an 8K filing on September 17, 2013.
