It is a family comedy with an unusual structure - each episode focuses on a different side of the family: one week featuring the couple dealing with Kelli's family, the next spent with Oliver's. Dreyfuss, repped by APA and The Schiff Co., will play Ricky, Oliver's father, opposite JoBeth Williams' Louis. This marks the first series-regular role for Oscar-winner Dreyfuss since his starring turn on the 2001 CBS drama The Education Of Max Bickford. Over the past decade he's done arcs on Showtime's Weeds and NBC's Parenthood. He most recently wrapped Darren Aronofsky and Joel Viertel's feature Zipper and was seen in Paranoia.
