CAMDEN, N.J., Oct. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Catapult Learning LLC, a leading provider of educational solutions, announced today that Elizabeth A. Menchaca has been named Vice President for Common Core and Professional Development. Menchaca will work to expand the company's nationally recognized instructional and professional development programs serving school districts across the country. As a recognized expert and speaker on the implementation of the Common Core State Standards, Menchaca will also represent Catapult Learning as a presenter at regional events and national conferences.

Menchaca brings 20 plus years of experience in designing curriculum and PD projects and planning alignment programs. As Vice President for Academic Services for Evans Newton Inc., a post she held for the past five years, Menchaca focused on urban school districts and was part of the design team for their TargetTeach process. She has developed and designed comprehensive systems for districts with over 150 schools. Menchaca is also a former state director for an accredited alternative education program with three sites in the Phoenix area.
