PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting this month, Philadelphians have more choices in Medicare coverage. Health Partners Plans — the only non-profit, hospital-owned insurer in the region — will launch Health Partners Medicare.
Health Partners Medicare will offer four new Medicare Advantage plans in Philadelphia — Health Partners Medicare Prime (HMO), Health Partners Medicare PrimePlus (HMO), Health Partners Medicare Basic (HMO) and Health Partners Medicare Special (HMO SNP). The latter provides special coverage for Medicaid andMedicare dual eligibles.
