Hands-on clinical nursing laboratories are a unique mainstay at each ENA Annual Conference, in which nurses can practice intubation and other procedures at an on-site cadaver lab, perform ultrasounds, dress wounds, and practice suturing and splinting techniques.
"Our Annual Conference in Nashville provides continuing education for our emergency nurses, who have to think on their feet, and make quick, decisive calls each and every day," said 2013 ENA President, JoAnn Lazarus, MSN, RN, CEN. "We support them through our mission and work, so they are able to help advance nursing practice, and provide the best quality of care to their patients."
