In addition, the Gold Coast is famous for its theme parks, and Sea World, Dreamworld, White Water World, Movie World and Wet’n’Wild are all popular amongst thrill seekers.

Chow Down

You’re sure to be hungry after an exciting morning. Surfers Paradise has an extraordinary spread of dining options that includes everything from cute cafes to hearty steakhouses, fine dining to Italian. The Marina Mirage is particularly popular for its selection of upmarket restaurants that are perfect for a more intimate lunch or dinner. For an equally delicious, but more relaxed experience, check out the local surf clubs for casual dining with stunning waterfront views.

Shop ‘til You Drop

You can’t go home without a few souvenirs! Many cities these days have a variety of markets to visit, and the Gold Coast is no exception. On Friday and weekend evenings, the beachfront in Surfers Paradise is brought to life with the smells, sights and sounds of the Night Markets. During your visit, you should also check out shopping outlet Harbour Town to grab a stylish bargain from one of its boutique stores.
