CHARLOTTE, SC, September 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Located in historic Charleston, South Carolina, Toast of Charleston has been praised for bringing local diners and tourists together with its famous breakfast selection and other delicious menu items. With September in full swing, Toast is proud to put its breakfast menu on full display in honor of National Breakfast Month.

Recent articles from The Los Angeles Times and NBC celebrate National Breakfast Month by providing readers with a wide array of traditional--and not-so traditional--recipes for early-morning cuisine. Similarly, Toast of Charleston invites diners everywhere to step out of their comfort zones and try some new and unique breakfast items. In a recent press statement, the Charleston-based restaurant explains, "Breakfast is often a meal that gets ignored, as people tend to push it out of focus due to hectic schedules or lack of creativity. Here at Toast, we strive to bring the focus back to breakfast by featuring a time-honored selection of early-morning dishes that can be enjoyed at any time of the day."

Although many restaurants across the United States draw in customers with their all-day breakfast menus, Toast of Charleston remains distinctive with select dishes that honor the unique city that is serves. For instance, the restaurant has gained praise for its Charleston Surf and Turf--a Low Country favorite that presents breakfast with a true nod to local cuisine. This dish has captivated taste buds from the start and is composed of marinated grilled rib eye and poached eggs with grilled shrimp and onions, all on a toasted English muffin.

Another breakfast favorite served up by Toast that captures Low Country cooking at its finest is the restaurant's Seafood Omelet. In its press statement, Toast describes, "Many people come to Charleston looking to have some of the greatest seafood that the South can offer. However, we've found quite a few ways to give diners an opportunity to enjoy local seafood and still get breakfast on their plate. Our Seafood Omelet celebrates breakfast and local fare by combining eggs, sauteed mushrooms, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, and green peppers with the diner's choice of delectable blue crab meat or shrimp and scallops."

While the restaurant features many other seafood favorites as well as lunch and dinner entrees, its breakfast items continue to serve as the reason why diners return time and time again. "We like to think that breakfast is not only one of the most important meals in terms of starting the day off right with fresh, nutritious dishes, but also as a meal that gives people a chance to come together. Here at Toast, we give families and friends an opportunity to explore inventive, delicious breakfast options and enjoy conversation without having to worry about what's going on in the kitchen. Come celebrate with us this National Breakfast Month or any other time of the year!" Toast of Charleston concludes in its press statement.
