(APS) is pleased to announce the signing of MLS midfielder Wells Thompson of the Chicago Fire and defender Jide Ogunbiyi of Viborg FF of the Danish Superliga to their already impressive list of professional athletes known as Team APS. They join an already star studded roster including Zane Beadles of the NFL Denver Broncos, Chris Bootcheck of the MLB New York Yankees and Richard Fortus the lead guitarist for Guns and Roses. APS athletes are not paid endorsers of the product, but often approach the company themselves in hopes of becoming part of its organic growth and lifestyle.

Thomas Wells Thompson started his career with three different high schools (RJ Reynolds High School, Forsyth Country Day School (FCDS) and the Family Foundation School). He was a dominate soccer player where he earned an All-North Carolina first team selection as a junior and senior as well as an All-Conference and All-Region section. After graduating he played for Wake Forrest University for all four years, while also playing for the Carolina Dynamo in the USL Premier Development League. He was drafter fifth overall in the 2007 MLS Super Draft by the New England Revolution. He is currently playing for the Chicago Fire where his tough and aggressive play has earned him the nickname "El Diablo".

Babajide "Jide" Ogunbiyi while attending high school Wissahickon High School in Ambler, Pennsylvania played basketball as a forward and a defender in soccer. He lettered three years and was captain in his senior year. He attended Santa Clara University where he scored 11 goals in 77 appearances. Jide was drafted by the New York Red Bulls in the 2009 MLS Super Draft but failed to reach an agreement and went back to finish his senior year. In 2010 he signed with Viborg FF of the Danish 1st Division. He was named to the 1st Division team if the year for 2010-11 season.
