DENVILLE, NJ, September 13, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ RecordClick announces the publication on September 11th of its interview with Ursula Krause, the world renowned German genealogist who specializes in writing ancestral histories for Americans of German ancestry.

In the RecordClick interview, Krause discusses Germany's privacy laws, current Internet issues, and travel requirements, which are all of importance to those who are researching their German family histories in local towns, parishes, and cemeteries.

According to the 2010 Census, Americans of German descent number approximately 50 million and are the number one ancestral group in the United States. Conducting genealogy research in the German region often presents challenges with the extensive destruction of towns, records, and cemeteries after two world wars. According to Krause, searching for records from the different periods of German history requires different types of sensitivity and awareness. Genealogy storytelling and story writing are increasing in popularity as a way to provide full insight into ancestors' lives.

A lawyer, teacher, and professional storyteller, specializing in 19th century German genealogy and history, Krause seeks to help genealogists and family history researchers make their ancestors come alive. "We hope, always, to get the next generation interested in genealogy," she says.

In addition to genealogy research and writing, Krause acted as consultant on the upcoming documentary The Upside Down Book, about how a copy of Mein Kampf ended up in the hands of a World War II Jewish-American soldier. The film will premiere at the International Film Festival in Fort Lauderdale in October 2013.

RecordClick continues to expand its research and genealogical research services worldwide, most recently expanding into Germany with specialized services provided by experts, such as Ms. Krause.

"Genealogy is not just about names and dates of our ancestors, it's about their stories. We seek to draw a complete picture about who they were and how they lived," explains Elizabeth Khan, Founder and CEO of RecordClick. "That is why we have reached out to Ursula Krause who has lived in the U.S. and Germany and understands so well the value of telling the story about our German immigrant ancestors. We want our clients to experience the thrill of knowing their forbears more intimately."
