According to a recent article by the Indianapolis Reporter, about one in four professionals who travel for business, travel overnight at least once per week each month. According to the Hilton Garden Inn Discovery and Connection Survey, business travelers are more likely than other travelers to extend their business trip by an extra day or two in order to take advantage of leisure opportunities. With the economy continuing to improve, U.S. business travel is expected to increase around five percent in 2013.
