(PRLEAP.COM) Orlando, FL, January 10, 2014 - The office of mystery novelist Digger Cartwright has announced the pending release of Mr. Cartwright's "If I Were the Devil" series. The new commentary is a modern take on Paul Harvey's 1964 social criticism. Weekly installments will be released each Saturday starting January 11, 2014.

Mr. Cartwright made the following comments regarding the release of the new commentary: "Whether you believe in the Devil or not, my hope is that this social critique and commentary will highlight some of the issues that are corrupting our society, weakening our foundational values, and threatening our nation. We are a nation and a society suffering from many afflictions, and we need to get back to some basics when it comes to values and faith. I hope this commentary starts a careful self examination first at the individual level and ultimately extending to society as a whole in order to address our problems. Times have changed since Paul Harvey released his original essay, and I hope that this new commentary will provide a different perspective for a new generation."
