Biemiller will have direct responsibility for overseeing the function of ABIM's Governance Affairs section. She will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating all activities at ABIM and will be a key representative of Dr. Baron, supporting communication among all leadership team members.
Hines will be responsible for assuring end-to-end operational efficiency and integration of processes across all ABIM departments. He will oversee ABIM's Operations Planning & Improvement (OPI), Diplomate Services, Exam Administration, Test Security, and Business Services Departments.
"Suzanne's experience and accomplishments in successfully leading organizational initiatives and Nick's skills in managing complex operations and staff in a variety of medical environments will be especially valuable to us at ABIM," said Dr. Baron. Biemiller was most recently First Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Mayor, for the City of Philadelphia, where she led a variety of city initiatives for Mayor Michael A. Nutter and his Administration. Hines was most recently Regional Vice President, Operations for Fresenius Vascular Care (FVC), part of Fresenius Medical Care North America and a national leader in freestanding interventional outpatient centers.
Biemiller holds a Master in Public Policy, from Harvard University, The John F. Kennedy School of Government. Hines holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from Averett University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Eastern Virginia Medical School.
