As part of the interactive contest, each video is posted online, and entrants who have created videos that garner the most votes will become coveted semifinalists. The contest already began in October 2013 and ends Dec. 2, 2013, leaving lots of opportunity for people to ask family and friends to vote, which increases their chances of having transforming, life-changing bariatric surgery.

In prior years, the AIBL contest for free Lap-Band® Surgery attracted more than 400 entrants. And this year with AIBL coupling a robust radio campaign with constant updates on Dr. Ganta social media accounts, the 2013 giveaway is expected to be even more successful than before.
