(OTC Markets: MDBX) (www.medboxinc.com), a leader in providing industry specific consulting services and patented systems to the medical and retail industries, responded to a landmark ruling issued by an Arizona state court yesterday that sent positive reinforcement throughout the medical marijuana industry in Arizona.

As reported by the Associated Press today, A judge has overturned Maricopa County's zoning ordinance for medical marijuana dispensaries, ruling that the 2011 local law was a "transparent attempt" to keep the businesses out of county areas outside incorporated cities and towns.

Superior Court Judge Michael Gordon said the county wrote the zoning ordinance so that it wouldn't allow dispensaries to be established because marijuana remains illegal under federal law.

"This court will not rule that Arizona, having sided with the ever-growing minority of states and having limited it to medical use, has violated public policy," Judge Michael Gordon of Maricopa County Superior Court wrote.
