SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Power of Pain Foundation, a non-profit working to provide community based services that address the needs of chronic pain patients with neuropathy conditions is hosting the 7th Annual P.A.I.N Summit. The P.A.I.N Summit is scheduled to take place in Scottsdale on September 14th, 2013, at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Conference Center. The event will bring together leaders in pain therapeutics, healthcare providers, patients, caregivers and public to discuss diagnosis and treatment options for pain patients, chronic pain issues, prescription monitoring programs, and overcoming real-world pain management challenges.
This September event is a Pain Awareness Month event. On display at the event will be the proclamation signed by Gov. Jan Brewer which proclaims September 2013 Chronic Pain Awareness Month. This free pain community event's emcee is Brittany Brannon, Miss AZ USA 2011/Model. There will be special celebrity presentations by WWE Wrestler: Raven and Dr. Natalie Stand, MD, winner of the Amazing Race. Exhibitors will also be present; including Pfizer, Power of Pain Foundation, Arizona Pain Specialists, local support group leaders, the international RSD Awareness Quilt display, Pain Pathways Magazine, and more.

This year's presentations will highlight the most important developments in recent years in the pain field, including new research and treatment options, integrative approach treatments, understanding how to control clinically relevant pathological pain states, and a plethora of other topics.
