United Airlines Launches 30 Days of Friendly Giveaway, Celebrates New Brand Campaign

CHICAGO, Sept. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines today is offering friends and followers of its social media channels 30 ways to win prizes in the next 30 days with the launch of the "30 Days of Friendly" social media promotion, celebrating the airline's newly launched brand campaign: "Flyer Friendly."

Customers who follow @united through Oct. 26, 2013 may enter for chances to win prizes including Economy Plus seats, MileagePlus award miles and domestic roundtrip tickets. The airline will post daily announcements on its Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels to encourage friends and followers to visit @united and tweet messages and post photos. United will then randomly choose and announce the winners each day.

United launched its reinvented "Fly the Friendly Skies" brand campaign Sept. 22, based on feedback from customers that they value a travel experience that combines service, technology and product enhancements. The airline has designed its investments in its global route network, new aircraft, onboard features, customer service and digital channels to satisfy its customers. The campaign includes network, cable and spot television, radio, magazine, newspaper, out-of-home and digital advertising, plus social media.
