Qualifying companies that are working with Launch KC, Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Sly James' strategic initiative to attract and develop IT entrepreneurs to the Crossroads Arts District and throughout Kansas City, receive 12 months of free hosting services.

Entrepreneurs in the Kansas City area and startups from across the United States who are interested in relocating to Kansas City can apply to Launch KC for a variety of startup needs. The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Kansas City then matches entrepreneurs with local resources offering a range of services from office space to mentorship. Arsalon Technologies co-founder and CEO Gary Hall learned about the Launch KC task force and wanted to help the program provide local data hosting resources.

To give back to the local entrepreneur tech community, Arsalon has committed to providing 12 months of free hosting services to tech entrepreneurs through the Launch KC program. "Following in the footsteps of Kansas City's entrepreneur legends like Ewing Kauffman and Neal Patterson, we want to give back to the growing tech community in our hometown," says Gary Hall, co-founder of Arsalon Technologies. Not unlike the co-founders of Arsalon, Nate Allen and Wes Mikel, the co-founders of tech start up 4 First Names, are gaining a lot of momentum. Now almost two years into their business venture, the burgeoning young entrepreneurs are riding the successes and challenges of starting a business – like finding resources that fit their needs along the journey.

Along the way, 4 First Names has connected with the growing group of Kansas City organizations dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, including Launch KC. Conceived just over a year ago, Launch KC has already assisted over 27 startup companies in Kansas City and nationally connect with local resources to help them establish roots and foster business growth.
