MIAMI, Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- SkyJoy Interactive, an emerging Miami-based video game developer focused on casual and social games in the mobile market, paired with Rick Case Automotive Group, a car company celebrating over 50 years in business, to throw the biggest party yet for their upcoming title, Super Kid Cannon.  As part of the celebration, SkyJoy awarded a Rick Case car to one lucky (and very hardworking) SkyJoy employee!

Every two weeks, SkyJoy employees are challenged with a new sprint: a list of tasks, duties, milestones, and other targets to hit by the end of the next Friday.  These assignments are given to teams, who work out themselves how to tackle the goals within the given time.  During each sprint, the teams and individuals at SkyJoy earns points by working scheduled hours, completing items on the list.

The finalists were the stars of the gala at the Rick Case showroom on Saturday, September 14th where they were dazzled with a lineup of cars from Rick Case Honda, Rick Case Hyundai, Rick Case Fiat and Rick Case Motorcycles.  The grand prize winner of the sprint program was none other than Edward Justin Alvarez, a software engineer at Skyjoy. Known as EJ around the office, he was a frequent frontrunner for each sprint competition. The lucky winner drove off at the end of the day in his new Hyundai Veloster Turbo

"We'd like to give a sincere thank you to our entire team for their group effort, with a special thanks to EJ," said Abboudi Taher, Founder and President of SkyJoy Interactive during a speech at the event.  "You've put in a lot of hard work – you've earned this!"  Through cheers and applause, fellow co-workers called for a speech, but EJ declined with a shy smile.

Fans who stopped by were equally dazzled by a brand new demo of Super Kid Cannon, which was playable on iPads, iPhones and Android Tablets for the event!  With plenty of fast-paced vertical scrolling action, Super Kid Cannon t-shirts, stickers, and games were enjoyed, in addition to plenty of delicious cake, cupcakes and finger food. Everyone went home with a huge smile on their faces.  SkyJoy is committed, as always, to caring for the community; all leftover food was distributed to feed the needy.

For those who couldn't attend, all of the delicious photos are now available at the Super Kid Cannon Facebook page Twitter and Instagram.

Due out later this year, SkyJoy's first game, Super Kid Cannon, features fast-paced vertical-scrolling action along with puzzles and strategic thinking to progress through levels.  The game can easily be played by everyone but incorporates features and extras designed to offer a challenge to hardcore gamers.  Super Kid Cannon will include a variety of memorable characters, each one with their own unique personality and traits.  Social integrations such as comparing ratings, scores and checking a friend's progress in the game will also be available.
