Bowl A Rama Shut Up & Skate Wellington

BOWL-A-RAMA™ is presenting “Shut Up And Create” Wellington and it will be kicking off the BOWL-A-RAMA™ 2015 skateboard series. In true BOWL-A-RA

MA™ form the contest will showcase some of the worlds’ best bowl skaters coming together from January 30th till Sunday February 1st 2015.

BOWL-A-RAMA™ is known as the premier bowl skate series in the world and this year it is mixing up a whole new bowl contest: Shut Up And Create. It could possibly be the most fun ever had in a bowl and it will be happening in Wellington, New Zealand on 31st January.

The BOWL-A-RAMA™ events in Wellington have consistently seen the biggest gathering of professionals skateboarders in the history of New Zealand and helped launch some amazing skaters onto the world stage; Pedro Barros (2014 ISU World Champion), Sky Siljeg, Colin Provost and hosted some of the greatest legends to ride on four wheels; Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero and Pat Ngoho (2014 ISU World Champion).

BOWL-A-RAMA™ is taking a step to the left this year and presenting Shut Up And Create. It will be an  inspirational day of bowl skating showcasing the fun side of it all with unique best trick divisions encouraging the skaters to have enjoy themselves as much as possible and get the crowds cheering as loud as they can.

“We’re looking to have fun this year. Competitions are fun but a best trick comp is even more fun. We want to start the series with a little less stress with the aim of having everyone carry their smiles all the way through. Wellington has a big reputation and we’re aiming to live up to it. We encourage everyone to come and cheer on the favourite skaters, shout out tricks for them to try and if you want to get involved some way yourself, feel free to fly the freak flag in the stands as loud as you want. See you at Waitangi Park on the 31st – we’ll be the ones having the best fun.” Says Frontside Events Director Chad Ford.
