Qatar Airways Launches New Year. New Journeys Promotion

DOHA, Qatar, Jan. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Qatar Airways is offering customers up to 30% off on Economy Class and Premium cabin fares to a wide variety of destinations during the New Year. New Journeys three-day global sale.

The sale, which starts at 0000 hrs 20 January (local time), and ends at 2359 hrs on 22 January (local time) offers customers the opportunity to travel to a variety of destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas at very attractive fares.

A generous travel period offers passengers added flexibility giving customers that purchase tickets an 11 month window until 17 December 2014 to complete their travel (blackout dates apply).

The special fares are applicable to a wide variety of destinations across Qatar Airways' network worldwide, including new destinations that have been announced for 2014, such as Philadelphia*, Dallas, Larnaca and Edinburgh*. Both the Economy and Premium fares qualify for frequent flyer points and mileage accrual can be redeemed on any oneworld carrier.

Qatar Airways has seen rapid growth in just 17 years of operations, currently flying a modern fleet of 129 aircraft to 134 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and The Americas.

Over the next few months, the network will grow further with Sharjah and Dubai World Central, both in the UAE (March 1, 2014), Larnaca, Cyprus (April 29), Philadelphia, USA (April 2, 2014), Sabiha Gokcen Airport, Turkey (May 22, 2014), Edinburgh, Scotland (May 28, 2014), Miami, USA (June 10, 2014) and Dallas/Fort Worth, USA (July 1, 2014).

Standard terms and conditions apply, including a minimum 30kg baggage allowance for all destinations.

*Promotional fares are not applicable for flights originating from Philadelphia or Edinburgh.
