Smashburger to Serve up Food, Comfort and Electricity to Colorado Flood First Responders

WHAT:

 

Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant announced it will provide first responders* assisting in the rescue and evacuation operation of Boulder County’s flood emergency a FREE entrée, side and a beverage at all of its Colorado area locations. The company also invites first responders to use its restaurants as a place to take a break and charge electronic devices as needed. *Valid first responder ID required for redemption.

 
Additionally, Smashburger's Smashmobile will be onsite to serve breakfast to evacuees and first responders at the Forth Morgan Middle School, 300 Devel St., on Monday, September 16, starting at 6 a.m. “Morgan County, where the flood waters have converged into the South Platte River, has cut the county in half and the damage is expected to be catastrophic. There is nowhere for that water to go -- except down all of our rivers and streams that ultimately feed into the South Platte --- which is already flooding," according to 7 New Meterologist Matt Makens.
