Heat pumps in all homes, many more electric cars and a ban on wood-burning stoves and wood pellet boilers for private individuals. These are some of the proposals to make Denmark better at harnessing its renewable energy, thinks Poul Alberg Østergaard, new professor at Aalborg University's Department of Development and Planning.
