A special market includes oil & gas equipment since Turkey is surrounded by 73% of the world's proven oil reserves and 72% of the world's proven gas reserves. Adana is one of Turkey's first industrialized cities, as well as one of the country's most economically developed areas outside of Istanbul. Adana was named in the recent past among the "25 European Regions of the Future" by "Foreign Direct Investment" magazine.
