UberConference will open its doors to the event on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., with CEO and co-founder, Craig Walker, discussing how his company nurtures an innovation-focused culture in order to make a powerful impact on antiquated technologies.
With its visual interface, UberConference makes features easy-to-use and increases the productivity of conference calls. Callers can join without a PIN and always know who's on the call or speaking. They also have the ability to share documents through Box and Evernote, automatically dial out to participants, record calls and see the profiles of others on the call through integrated LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
"At UberConference, I encourage my team to think non-traditionally," said Walker. "OpenCo is a great opportunity to showcase how culture, collaboration and hard work play together in building a successful, thriving environment of creative thought and innovation."
Previously, Walker was CEO of Dialpad Communications, which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2005 (becoming Yahoo! Voice), co-founder and CEO of GrandCentral Communications, acquired by Google in July 2007 (now Google Voice), and Entrepreneur in Residence at Google Ventures. His co-founders are Lead Front-End Engineer Brian Peterson, Lead Back-End Engineer John Rector, and Head Designer Alex Cornell. The company is funded by Andreessen Horowitz and Google Ventures.
