CHICAGO, Sept. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Raritan, a leading provider of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and rack power distribution solutions, will be presenting with customer Quicken Loans, the largest online mortgage lender, at this week's Datacenter Dynamics conference.

The 40-minute session -- "Quicken Loans Brings Innovation to Its Data Centers" -- will look at the latest trends and technologies for managing power and cooling in data centers.

Presentation Details:

When:

Tuesday, October 1, 12:50 – 1:30 p.m.

Where:

Hall 2; Hyatt Regency McCormick Place

Presenters:

Adam McLaughlin, Data Center Team Leader at Quicken Loans

Mike Gonski, Director of Software Sales at Raritan

Responsible for all of Quicken Loans' data centers and more than 120 telco/network closets nationwide, Adam McLaughlin and his team have focused on using new, innovative technologies to keep pace with the fast-growing company.

Adam will discuss how Quicken Loans uses the latest energy management technologies to gather outlet-level power usage and load information to manage its data center environment.  He also will share how the information is used for charge-back purposes with sister companies using space in Quicken Loans' data centers, and how Quicken Loans uses the information to verify that power and cooling SLAs are being met.

Quicken Loans has instrumented its data centers with Raritan's PX intelligent Rack Power Distribution Units (iPDUs) -- the first PDU to provide energy usage details at the outlet level -- and plug-and-play temperature, humidity and airflow sensors.  Power data gathered from the racks is monitored on the dashboard of Raritan's Power IQ® energy management DCIM software, which analyzes the data and generates reports.

Raritan will be showing in Booth #22:  rack iPDUs, PowerIQ® energy management software, Raritan DCIM software,  smart electronic asset-tracking solution and other solutions designed to help manage data centers resources efficiently and smartly.
