Com Hem's New TiVo® Service Is Powered by On® Entertainment Metadata from TMS

CHICAGO, Sept. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Com Hem, the leading supplier of triple-play offerings in Sweden will launch its highly anticipated TiVo® service powered by world class On® Entertainment metadata from TMS, the international leader in entertainment navigation. Using the new TiVo service, Com Hem subscribers will be able to seamlessly search for and discover linear and on demand programming using elegant entertainment guide interfaces that are standardized across TV, computer, tablet and smartphone screens.

TMS' On Entertainment metadata enables many of the TiVo services' key features including unified search, image-driven navigation and smart content recommendations. TMS Unique IDs provide the connectivity between the linear TV, catch up TV and video on demand datasets which allows users to find and watch the entertainment content they'll enjoy most, regardless of the source.  

The availability of consistent guide UIs across devices displaying industry leading TMS data will help Com Hem maximize satisfaction among its 1.8 million subscribers and encourage increased video consumption.
