FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Highlight Technologies, a Fairfax-based woman and minority-owned federal contractor, was awarded a Master Ordering Agreement on the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) eFAST vehicle. Highlight was awarded in three functional areas: Business Administration Management, Computer Systems Development, and Computer Systems Support. The "Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks," eFAST is a $7.4 billion vehicle, with 6 years in the base period and one 5 year option.

eFAST is FAA's preferred acquisition vehicle for small business. eFAST provides pre-negotiated rates for a wide range of services including, among others: administrative support, business process analysis, content management, office management, training, graphic design, information analysis, business intelligence, database development and administration, software engineering, web site development, information assurance, IT systems architecture, network engineering, quality assurance, help desk support, telecommunications services, and technical documentation.

This contract is available for use throughout the FAA and, on a limited basis, and when in the best interest of the Government, by all federal agencies. Work may be performed in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. Territories.
